   I don’t know how companies get away with this, but the price per filter is significantly higher than advertised. The housing seems solid and well built, will see how they do.

   Excellent value! I have 6 filters to replace every three months and these are a fantastic option. The package arrives – very slim as opposed to the big boxes. As described it comes with a plastic frame and seven filters – yes SEVEN. One is already in the frame and ready to be installed. Six additional filters are in a large resealable bag. The six filters are packed two together so you must separate before using next time you replace the filter. The plastic frame it VERY sturdy and doesn’t bend under the air pressure when the HVAC fan is on. The media appears better to be of high quality comparable (no necessarily equivalent) to a higher end like 3M filters and certainly better than the typical cheaper filters which are used in the other areas of this house. Product is higher quality and will cutdown on shipping costs and waste. 5 stars overall.I just installed and will revisit this review in three months to provide an update. I am ordering a second now given initial high quality.

   This is truly a good product, most excellent.I purchased this primarily for the frame. The frame is excellent quality, and fits close to perfect in my return filter grille. There is a slight vertical gap, about 1/8 inch and of no concern, and easily shimmed if it were bothersome.- The frame came with a preinstalled filter.- Also received were 6 replacement filters, in 3 packs of 2 each replacement filters,- A total of 7 filters, as advertised in the product description and also discussed in the vendor’s responses to other’s questions.- The supplied filters are excellent quality, and should be enough to last most systems at least 7 months to over a year if changed every two months.The frame is perfect for my needs. I am using it to hold a carbon pre-filter cut to size at my return filter grille. I have a 20 x 20 x 4 inch media filter closer to the furnace, also coupled with a heat pump. Dual system, heat-pump and furnace, 20 inch diameter flex return on a 35 foot run. Negligible pressure drop using this frame as a pre-filter with carbon pad, or other low merv-mpr-fpr filter material. I keep the fan running 24/7, always on, always filtering and recirculating air in the home.I could get by using the supplied filters a pre-filters as well. They have good air flow, based on their design, and the pressure drop was of little concern with no alarming or adverse drop in airflow when put in place.I liked this product so much, I purchased another to keep as a spare or use elsewhere.Five Stars:- Excellent quality- Easy to use, near perfect fit, as advertised, much better than expected- Far more economical than purchasing cardboard framed fiberglass or pleated filters found in hardware or grocery stores- More efficient airflow compared to those other filters of comparable merv-mpr-fpr ratings. The manufacturer and vendor are not lying about this claim.

   I read the reviews before buying this, so I was a little skeptical about not getting enough filters. However, the filters are very clearly package together and you have to peel them apart. It was the exact amount of filters and one frame just like it was advertised. I’ve only been using it about a week so not sure how well they actually work.

   I bought a pack, arrived on time, well packed. The frame looks solid and sturdy. Fit and easy to put in. It’s not directional, can be installed in any way you want. The groves between each ridge are delicately fabricated they support the filter media and fix the them in place. We usually change the filter every three to four months. I’ll update after 3 month to see how it works compared to the other filter I used to use.

   The filter element in the middle is thin. I see some people are reporting they didn’t receive all of their filters so they must be using 2 instead of one of the replacements that come doubled up in the pack. The only drawback I see is that the replacement filter element is not for sale yet without purchasing a frame. At the price it is selling for currently it is still an OK deal but I would like to see sales of the replacement filter element alone.
