I installed these filters the day I turned on my air conditioner on May 20. We have 3 return vents in the upstairs portion of the house. On June 8, we noticed that the upstairs wasn’t cooling at all. Luckily for us, the A/C guy couldn’t come out right away, and my wife asked me about the filters. I changed all 3 and after a few hours the upstairs felt cool again.I can’t believe I got 19 days out of these filters. The air conditioner blows 24 hours a day and we have pets. But I just feel that 19 days is ridiculous. The filters I used previously got me through the whole summer. Is it the fact that these are MERV 13?

This brand is the closest to a 10″x10″ filter size that I have found it’s 9 3/4″ x 9 3/4″ and is the best made compared to other brands I have recently bought. The other brands are smaller 9 1/2″x 9 1/2″ and not made as well, dosen’t sound like much difference in the size but the smaller ones fit so loosely that they leak unfiltered air in the filter holder and had to be taped in place to work properly.I definitely recommend this brand.
