TRUMP 2024 –
We thought this was a great idea. Charcoal filters are typically used to help control odors in air purifiers. Why not use your central air/heat as one big purifier. The filtering number of the charcoal filter only allowed one option and was lower then what we typically use. I can’t say that it works or it doesn’t, but it can’t hurt having the charcoal on one side of the filter. I would buy them again if price is right.

Great filters. Couldn’t find these locally anywhere so I ordered them with Amazon Prime. Arrived on-time and was packaged well. None of the filters arrived damaged. The charcoal embedded in the filter does seem to help neutralize odors in the house. We have 4 dogs so pet odors can be a problem. The air in our house did seem to become more fresh after installing one of these filters. Doesn’t seem to bog down our air handler either. Jury is still out on whether these help reduce household allergies. They are more expensive than traditional furnace filters, but you get what you pay for.

Great filters. I can always tell when we change filters because my lungs clear up a little. We are going to begin changing them every two months rather than every three as we have two returns and they are nearly clogged by the end of three months. This is without doors and windows open. We run the furnace fan 16 hours a day and never open anything to the outside. Even so, these filters pick up an extraordinary amount of dust and such.

I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my home air. I’m very pleased with the fresh smell and lack of sinus problems. I have been suffering with severe allergies since February. My doctor has me on 2 different prescription sinus meds and nasal spray 2x daily with minimum results needless to say the out of pocket costs. I’ve never been this miserable! I have 2 cats but never any problems. I don’t know if it’s my age, I’m 64, or if allergies are just worse this year, but it was nearly unbearable. Within 1 week of replacing my air filters I was symptom free. Even my Germ guardian air filter didn’t have these results. The cat dander is still here and the tree and grass pollen is off the charts, but not my allergies! I HIGHLY recommend these filters to anyone who wants to breath again. My house air is clean and fresh.

This is absolutely the best filter I have ever found. I live in the country and have three dogs that live in the house. The filter does an amazing job of filtering out dust and pollen and keeps my return air system cleaner than I expected. I have had visitors complement me about the lack of pet orders in my house and ask how I do it.

These arrived well packaged and seemed to improve air quality within about an hour in our basement. We have two dogs and no longer notice any smells at all, even if they have been wet recently.

The filters are well made but the car in Grau also fall off. I suspect 3M is buying the activated charcoal from the corn syrup or sugar industry. These industries use activated charcoal to remove color from the sugar syrup. The filtered air has a sweet corn syrup odor. I would prefer that they don’t stink from sugar/syrup odor.

I’ve used these filters for about a year new in a newly built house which has 4 air intake vents located throughout. 1 pack of 4 works well for me every several months. They are a bit pricey but do a decent job absorbing odors, dust, pet hair, and other particles. One word of caution though: watch your fingers when installing these as I got essentially a little paper cut on my finger from the mesh wire that covers the filter when trying to installing one of them. Also, these do have some loose tiny charcoal specs when you take them out of the package, so be mindful when opening. Overall, I would recommend these if you can splurge on a premium filter.
