I used to purchase these at my local Home Depot starting in 2009, but a few years ago they stopped carrying them and replaced them with the Honeywell filters, which were just as expensive, but very flimsy, had fewer pleats, therefore less surface area, than they 3M Filtete, and would bow inward when the air was on. I found these on Amazon for about the same price they were at Home Depot, and don’t have to make a trip to the store and walk all the way to the back to get them. They are rigid and do not bend when inserted into air conditioning vent opening when the airflow starts, unlike the aforementioned other brand.

Ordered these filters after reading the Consumer Reports review. They are great! So many more folds than the filters we bought at a big box store. They really get a lot of debris that we didn’t realize was even thre. Highly recommend these filters!

If you periodically have really bad allergy attacks this product may significantly reduce them like it did mine. Highly recommend for people with pets that have bad allergy attacks.

These filters are easier to install properly than cheaper versions have been. They fit nicely and snugly and are good at cleaning the air.
