   The filters were shipped in a heavy constructed box which is crucial in protecting these particular type filters during shipping. These filters aren’t cheap, but the way they are designed give them far more filtering surface for air flow which allows them last 6 to 8 months with no pre filter in the air exchanger. Normally I would be trying to retrofit a cheaper aftermarket type filter, but not in this case these filters are specifically designed for my air purifier which work and seal very well. My last filter was in service for 8 months and was still in intact and not super dirty. My air purifier installer suggested changing every 6 months so from this point forward I will be following his suggestion to lessen the stress on the fan unit.

   Although the price is a bit high, these are the only replacement filters I know of that actually fit the PGAPX size Bryant/Carrier air filter systems. They also last at least a year keeping the air very clean in my over 4000 sqft home so don’t replace them after the 6 month recommended time unless they are dirty.

   Other than the fact that these filters are way too expensive, the fit is perfect as they are OEM filters. Have been unable to find a suitable 3rd party replacement, so ordered these as they were the least expensive I found.

   Atomic filters replaced a damaged filter I received with a very convenient process. I thought I was out $110 but the folks made the replacement easy! thanks

   These fit our Carrier HVAC unit perfectly. I was told by Carrier to replace “yearly” but we replace every few months.
