I needed some replacement furnace filters so I decided to give these a try. They are pleated filters and appear to be of reasonable quality. I generally purchase filters made by 3M but they are getting pretty expensive for filters having this high of merv rating. Out of the package when compared to a 3M filter these have less pleats and metal wired support only on one side. The 3M has metal wired support on both sides. Now after using both I am not sure it really makes much difference. I have not noticed any difference in air quality which is the primary concern. If these filters continue to perform I will not be going back to the 3M filters I had been using because these are much more cost effective.

I was hoping that these filters were going to be a good alternative to 3M filters. But these were a bit flimsy and it ripped while it was going in to the furnace. If you’re on a budget these might be a good alternative to the 3M. However, I do want to note that the wiring is only on one side and the other side is plain. There are also less pleats on these filters. Again just an alternative filter if you’re on a budget.

Just received these filters. There is not doubt that they will filter adequately. I just wished they were more sturdy than they are. I don’t think the pics show it well, but when my a/c comes on, the suction pulls the filter inward much more than filters I’ve used before. Because of that, the filter really doesn’t fit well in the frame when the a/c is on, and causes a slight ‘whistle’. Unlikely that I will purchase more.Update: The company reached out and asked about my concerns. Provided me with an updated version and I must say, it has been improved. I’m very satisfied now and can recommend this product.

This is the first time that I buy a 5-pack air filter and I like it. I live in an area where gets very smoky in the summer due to wild fires. That forces you to follow strictly the recommendation of changing your filters every three months or even more often. I admit that I often forget to get some and you wouldn’t want to see how bad the filters look when I eventually replace them. That’s not good for your health nor for your A/C.. A pack like this will ensure that I always have some to replace, avoiding that problem. They fit well and I had no issues installing one. I tend to buy another brand but thought to give this one a try and so far, it has worked well.

I need a quality air filter for my allergies. So far these are perfect! Updated review 2 filter frame came apart and whistled. My review went from a 5 star to 3 star. The glue used to hold the frame together came apart and the frame buckled in the vent causing a whistle.. I didn’t see this when I received them. but we have had very high humidity recently and that may have caused to glue to release on the flimsy cardboard frame.

I’ve been buying the three-pack of filters at a membership warehouse store and have gotten used to the brand they carry. It’s a very well-known brand that makes many household items. So when I opened these I was shocked at how flimsy the cardboard frame is and how little filter material is in these. Both our previous filters and these are both MERV 13 so I would not expect them to be so drastically different in the filter material. That being said it may be a design difference. The other brand has many close pleats and these have less than half the number of pleats. The filter material does appear to be slightly thicker than the other ones. These also seem almost fuzzy and as if the material has layers. Installation was a little more difficult because I did not want to crumple the frame, but otherwise, it was easy. I cannot comment on the filtration quality since they were just installed. I will try and update if I have anything meaningful to add. I am not sure how I can though since I do not have any testing equipment or know-how. I think these are over-priced and should be at the $50 range instead.

These will pull and hold the dust flying around your house that you can not see. The MERV 13 is a true rating for these as you can tell they are made of a good quality material and for the price they cannot be beat. If you are looking for cleaner air and removal of pollen’s and dust then give these a shot. They will not disappoint you. They are sturdy enough to hold up and not sag when trying to install them in the filter area.

These filters are great. They’re a bit higher priced than what I usually spend on air filters, but these last 3 months, compare to the one-month on the ones I’ve used in the past. They do a fantastic job.
