   This is one of those things that we seem to need and never have around. These are nice, heavier filters and come in a lot of five so we’ll be prepared this winter and probably for a few winters to come. They are a bit pricey but the convenience of having furnace filters available now instead of continuing to use an old one until we remember to buy one is immeasurable!

   We ordered these for our farmhouse as we get quite a bit of of dust and fibers in our house from the outside animals and garden/fields. Our previous vent was not doing the job, even though they were quite expensive, and much more expensive then these. We ordered the 14x25x1 size and they are a perfect fit. We have noticed a better air flow since installing these, yet they are still capturing more air debris than the previous vent. This six pack of air vents is priced comparably to what we had been purchasing at the hardware store, but the quality is much better. I definitely recommend these air conditioner filters!

   These work perfectly with our A/C unit. The dimensions are correct, so it fit as expected. It has a MERV8 rating which means it filters 80 percent of contaminants in the air including pollen, dust, lint, dust mites, mold, and other large particle impurities. At 80 percent, it shouldn’t have a negative impact on air flow, so you can expect your unit to continue running efficiently. This budget brand work just as well as more expensive name brand items and you can buy them in larger quantities to eliminate having to make last minute runs to the store.
