These filters are a great value and they were packaged carefully so not even a single corner was bent when they arrived. They are not flimsy like some value packs that I’ve seen and are comparable in quality to other filters I’ve purchased for a higher price.The size was exactly as stated and they fit perfectly for what I needed. No issues here!

This 8-Pack of Air Filters arrived well-packaged. They were easy to install and fit perfectly into the AC Filter Slot. They’re made from good Quality Material and appear to be durable.

These BNX MRV 11 air filters seem to have about 50% less baffles/surface area, just when counting the number of pleats, than the comparable Filtrete/3M filters. They have 14 baffles/folds to the Filtrete’s 21 baffles/folds. While the Filtrete/3M filter lists specs and air flow, etc., the BNX does not have that information. That said, these are much more economical – they are about 1/3 the price that I’ve been paying for the Filtrete, and I’m anxious to see how they hold up and perform over the long term. But I’m thinking it’s very worth a bit less surface area for such a cost difference.I will come back and amend this review if they do not meet my expectations derived from my experience with Filtrete/3M filters.

For a MERV11, it does a good job in not stressing out my AC and still picks up a lot of air particles and dust. We do like to keep it cool in our house, so the AC is on for the majority of the day. For about $8/filter, its not a bad deal for the quality. The difference in air quality is tremendous.

Great filters in the 14x25x1 size and a MERV 11 rating, made in the USA. The construction is typical, cardboard box on the outside with pleated electrostatic filter media inside, reinforced with chicken wire mesh on the “clean” side of the filter. Fits perfectly in my HVAC air handler with a pair of shelves on the side, as my unit is designed to accept both 1″ and 2″ filters. These filters being only 1″ thick have less filter media than 2″ or thicker filters, therefore it’s important to replace them more frequently. The recommended replacement interval for these 1″ filters is 3 months, so I just set a reminder for myself to replace them at end of winter and again at end of summer, when HVAC use is heaviest. It’s not necessary to replace them more than twice a year for me, as fall and spring sees almost no HVAC usage. Good value for the price.Some of the filters on the outside of the pack arrived with their pleats mangled or squished, and two were even slightly bent, likely due to heavy handling during shipping. The cardboard paper exterior is the only thing providing structural support and are not designed to bear any weight. However, as long as the filter media isn’t torn (they were not), it won’t affect their performance. I just use my fingers to pinch the squished chicken wire back into their pleated shape, and they will work just fine.
