I received the item but the package was already open and badly tapped up.

I was disappointed when our new a/c unit was replaced with one that uses these filters. They are expensive and clog easily and have already caused our unit to freeze up 3 times from excessive condensation within the first 3 months of installation. Service tech said weCould wash them but not that easy. Our older unit ran regular filters just fine for over 30yrs wish there was an alternative?
