These differ from the 3M Filtrete filters in that they are not electrostatic. But it made a night-and-day difference in the amount of dust I have to wipe off my night table every day with the builder-grade filters I had previously. Construction quality looks good, and in spite of comments from some reviewers, it is definitely not made small. Will definitely buy again.

Would be 5 stars but took 8 days to get here after saying it would only take 4 days. Otherwise the product works as well as the costly version.

Judging by the grey color of these as I remove them, they seem to do the job very well! Save your money and try these.

Ok, but not convinced these are merv13.I’m not an aero engineer, but these just seem flimsier than the more expensive merv13’s bought at the local big box store. I’ve added a photo of the two kinds, the dirty one is the more expensive filter. Things I do notice are: less pleats in these cheaper filters (this means less surface area) and wire grid only on one side (probably doesn’t matter). I can’t say that these are lower performance, but they seem like it.
