It doesn’t have the channels to lock onto the top and bottom like the official 213 media does. With this one, the metal brackets fit inside the upgraded kit’s brackets and the height was just enough to “fill” the space. First time using this product so I don’t yet know how good of a seal it will have.

Doesn’t fit the same way in to the box as an aprilaire 213 filter. The 213 actually slides in on rails and that is how it seals this does not. The other thing is it is supposed to be a 2 pack for this price. Only one came in the box so it made it actually more expensive than the right filter. Lesson learned don’t try and save money with this garbage.

I purchased this to replace the filter in my unit, but the product doesn’t match what I pulled out of my conditioner. It says it should replace an Aprilaire model 213, but lacks the plastic slides on the top and bottom that hold the filter in place.
