More of a headsup, most AC systems don’t actually want anything above MERV 12. These filters are a weird spot where it puts more stress on your home system than it was intended to have, and isn’t quite what you want for the high end applications.

I have probably only reviewed one other item on Amazon of all the hundreds that I’ve purchased. This filter is that amazing. You have to get the higher MERV count (this one is 13) it makes a HUUUUGE difference.The filter in the photo was white, and when I changed it, it was literally almost black. I had CHRONIC allergies for months and so did my daughter after moving into our condo. I carried around Kleenex and eye drops with me from room to room. I tried everything. EVERYTHING. Once I learned about changing air filters it was a game changer. The others worked okay…but this one literally has saved my sanity. Almost ZERO allergy issues. So thankful for this filter.

This is a good enough product for the money. HOWEVER, we will probably go back to the MERC ones. The folds on these are about half the amount compared to the more expensive brand. But, for the price, these are doing the job. I can’t complain because these cost about half as much as the ones we were getting. But, will probably not buy these again. I think the other ones did a better job. And we can only use these about half as long as the better ones, so cost-wise, probably equals out.
