these are a similarly priced MERV 13 filters to the ones you can get at the big box stores. seem to be of the same quality, just a little cheaper. i don’t have a way of verifying their ability to filter all of the things 13 level filters do, but seem to be the same as my others.

I appreciate the fact that these are made in the USA. The frames themselves are sturdy and none were damaged in shipping. I compared them to other basic filters, however, and they don’t seem much different, but of course, need to stand the test of time. I would’ve preferred that the Merv rating was printed on the filters themselves, rather than a box checked on the package to ensure that these were, indeed, the rating promised, since it is important with allergies.

With summer coming we were due to change out the filter prior to firing up the AC and with all of us having allergies we decided to try a higher-MERV filter to see if it would help. The frames are sturdy and the fit in my HVAC unit was seamless. Air flow seems about the same as our previous filters (which were lower level filtering). All in all these seem to be decent quality filters and a good value for the price.

These are very good, well-made filters and were a good price. I would definitely recommend them.

I got these Merv filters to make a Corsi Rosenthal box. It’s fire season, and these boxes can really clear the smoke out of your house. These filters worked great. They are well made and the filter material doesn’t sag in the filter. After just about 10 minutes of use, these Merv filters noticeably cleared the smoke out of the air in my house. That’s how I know the Merv filters are functioning as they were rated. I recommend these filters.

Compared these to the Merv 13 filters we’ve been buying for several years and they appear to be the same however these cost about $15 dollars less. The wife has allergies so I replace our filters every month so the savings will help and is appreciated. They fit perfectly into the narrow slot which they slide into.I do wish filter companies would included a short pull tab on the outer edge to make removal easier. I’ve simply left a framing nail on top which I poke through the end to help with removal. Can’t go wrong with these. quality filters at a good price!

These filters actually worked a little too good at filtering for me. Three weeks ago I replaced my HVAC filter with one of these and just this week I discovered that my HVAC had a pipe that was freezing up. It’s been extremely hot and the AC has been running quite a bit, but was struggling to get the house below 77 degrees. In the past I’d learned that a frozen pipe was typically an issue with air flow due to a clogged filter. But I’d just replaced mine 3 weeks prior.I started looking into just how fine of particles these filters would pull out and began suspecting that the issues with smoke from the Canadian wildfires that have been blowing down here to the lower 48 might have actually been getting filtered out by these filters, thus fulling it quicker than normal. We’ve not done anything different that could have caused them to fill quickly, like home remodel projects or anything. Allergy season has past, so not a lot of new blooming stuff in the air. The only thing that had changed was we had day after day of air quality advisories that went on for weeks, because of the wildfires putting the haze in the air.I let my HVAC pipe thaw, switched out the filter and since then the house has been cooling properly again with no frozen pipe issues. So that tells me that these filters do have the ability to actually filter out the very fine smoke particles that were in the air and being carried across the country by the wind, giving us those hazy, smoky days. With that said, if you’re looking for a filter that can filter smoke, these can do it! Just know you’ll need to change them more frequently, depending on how much smoke is coming through your area.

I like that these have a sturdy frame. They also have a wire mesh screen on them too. They seem to do a pretty good job and are priced a little better than the Orange Box Store in house brand.
