The air filter paper can be folded and stored, which not only saves you money, but also saves your storage space. Every time you change it, you only need to replace the filter paper inside. You can dispose of used filter paper more easily and freely without throwing the outer frame in the big trash can.
- 【High Efficiency Filtration】: 16x20x1 reusable replacement air filter is made of advanced pleated technology, which can provide greater air coverage, better particle capture, merv12 grade furnace filter can filter dust, pet hair, car exhaust particles and smoke , which can better improve the filtering effect and ensure that you don’t have to worry about the purity of the air when using it.
- 【Easy to Clean】: For best results, change ac furnace filter every 60 to 90 days, but increase frequency to 30 days during peak summer and winter months. It is recommended that you simply clean the outer frame every time you replace it, so as to improve the filtering effect , improve air quality.
- 【20x16x1】: Nominal reusable replacement air filters Dimensions: 20x16x1 (a rounded number that makes ordering replacement filters easier), Actual reusable replacement filters dimensions: 15.5×19.5×0.75 (The true measured dimensions of your air filter (length x width x depth)), Please check before buying.

This is a good idea and works great, but I do not find the replacement filter inserts available anywhere on Amazon, which makes both the economic and environmental case for these questionable. If these replacement filter inserts were as readily available as the conventional filters, this would be a revolutionary approach, possibly even a market disruptor.

What can I say that the other reviews haven’t said already? This is a great filter with great features, but the paper filter material is not available anywhere. And I’m pretty good at finding stuff with Google searches if it is available. So if you were to want to continue using this, you’d have to buy a whole new kit with a new plastic paper holder. This is extremely inefficient and unsustainable. And look at my ratings! They’re all 5’s across the board. This is simple to use, simple to set up (it was actually easier than it appeared to be from the video), and I love the rigid plastic frame which stands up better to the AC/Furnace design I have which draws the air downward through the AC coils. Paper filters eventually deform with this design and this one stays perfectly in place. I was looking forward to buying a case of paper filters, only to be disappointed that I’d have to buy the whole kit all over again. Dumb.I know another reviewer found other filters of another brand that might work, and I have seen other paper and fiberglass options one could cut to size , but why??? This type of a product is predicated upon having replacements, so why market it?Needless to say, I am highly disappointed. But hey, if you want a really nice rigid plastic 16×20 frame for a filter, this will get that for you.

So I didn’t realize this was a reusable filter… the exterior plastic is very sturdy. It comes with four accordion style filters that fill the inside of the shell. I was worried this wouldn’t fit, but it actually did. I wasn’t able to find any replacement interior filter inserts… so this is really only good for four uses… then I just have this exterior shell? I assume since this is a newer product/concept they are just in the testing phase to see how well it works. I’ll have to see how changing out the filters goes when it’s time to switch.

This comes in handy for replacing buying a bunch of air filters. The replacements just go inside and last over 3 months and could possibly be cleaned and reused. I would recommend as an alternative to always buying air filters just make sure this is the right size.

It does what it is intended to do. I just don’t know if I’ll be able to find replacements once the iner filters runs out. The frame is descent hard plastic. All and all a great idea I just believe it’ll be hard to find iner replacement filters.

This system uses a reusable plastic filter frame with replaceable filter material. The advantage, of course, is less waste. And that’s a good thing! Installation of the new filter is relatively easy. You just stretch the ends of the filter material over the inner edge of the frame and snap the top onto it and you’re ready to go.It works very well in my furnace and what I like is, that I have a stack of filter of filter material that hardly uses up any space. That’s a win-win!

These reusable filters are very nice to have. It saves you money and time having these. Filters are getting so expensive that this idea is great. The value is worth it. They fit great and work great. We’ll be looking for more

To rip the bandage off quick, this filter is less effective at locking in dust and more, as compared to the disposable ones with metal support wires and cardboard frames, (though as I mention below, it does not affect the overall filtration quality, and has a benefit that exceeds the utility of the disposable ones to my needs). The real clincher is, it’s a plastic frame with 4 collapsing paper screens able to be stretched and held inside it, 34USD is too pricey. As it stands though, even though it is outperformed in price by its disposable frame counterparts, it does last longer than my previous filters. Setup is simple and straightforward, open the frame, stretch the accordion folded filter from one end to the other and snap the filter frame together. Once completed, the filter in frame is used like any same sized HVAC filter. While it is not as great at locking in dirt and dust, an upside to that problem is that the filters can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner to a decent degree, extending the filter life span a little bit more. Also, while the dust isn’t locked into the fibers leeway, the filter isn’t letting anything through into the house atmosphere either. It filters as good, perhaps better than my previous filter. The package contains enough filters to last a year according to the listing, and that is believable from the performance I’ve gotten out of them so far.All in all, my only caveat of note is that these filters are overpriced, but otherwise are a great product, and are better for the environment as well.
